Order up!

This morning I hopped around the grid getting lots of fabu gifts (The start of the month is super awesome for gift pickup!) and I had high hopes for a blog about them - but in fact, there are so many that I'm gonna need a little time to process it all! So overwhelmed was I, that I threw my hands in the air and decided to get ready for my DJ set later... and that's when the magic happened!

The event I needed to get ready for is "Best in Profession/Career" and I couldn't bring myself to don another suit or cheesy stripper-esque costume. I came across this great Sookie Stackhouse costume from [aberrant]! It comes with shirt, apron, waitress order pad and pencil! The sneakers are mesh and came from B&T at the Cart Sale and the jeans are a gift from the Aqua Introduction box at the Fab Free HQ. 

Once I nabbed the outfit, I needed a good place to wear it, and voila! This Roadside Diner is perfect and is on the side of the Linden Road on mainland. The detail is just awesome, you should check it out! And if you're hankerin' for something to do later, come to Club Amaranth and hang out with us from 5-7 PM SLT!

Sweet Sweet Petites

Yesterday Sweet Petites graciously put out a new subscriber gift despite the designer being exceedingly busy in RL at the moment - So I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share it with you. When I popped down to the store, there were more surprises and gifts waiting!

The purple "Simple Tempation Jumpsuit" is one of 4 colours in a free fatpack available in-store. They're gorgeous, well made, detailed and sexy! Peeking around the store I also located the "Enchanted Petite Hunt" item (with the help of the store hint) and was so pleased that it was a pretty necklace, with a written explanation of the symbol on the simple, yet elegant design. The final find was the subscriber gift, that comes with two different skirt designs and looks lovely on my petite!

There are also two lucky boards and a midnight mania with lovely quality items on it (that I'm currently stalking as I write!) Thank you Sweet Petites for the awesome gifts, good luck with your RL business and I can't wait to see what design next - I know my linden stipend will likely be spent here for a while!

Triple Threat? Triple Treat!

A few days ago I posted about heading over to New York City sim in SL - and while I was there, I picked up some gifts from various stores. I hadn't opened any of them until after I got back home and when I did, I found these gorgeous shirt/dress mesh gifts from *BOOM*. It comes in three different colours and various mesh sizes.

The colours just pop and look fabulous with some of the stiletto styles from *Felicity* - a designer known throughout the grid for great style and awesome gifts. I also popped over to JeSyLiLo to check out their new releases and discovered a Group Gift that I nabbed, its so pretty! I'll probably wear it for quite a while!

While looking for another place to take some photos, I stumbled across London City, an adult London themed infohub. Lots of great shops, nooks, crannies and interesting people!

Salsa Jazzy!

I was feelin' the jazz this morning... and this outfit worked beautifully for my mood! I hopped around the grid a bit before finding a location that I liked - and The Jazz Link was just it! Add a little smoke to your windlight (To save your lungs) and the atmosphere here practically sings with the sultry tones of jazz. Go relax, enjoy, listen to the tunes or step on stage - you won't be disappointed in the trip!

 

The outfit is another great find in the upcoming Top Shelf Style Hunt - this one is from Shadow Moon and also features a men's gift that pairs with this lovely outfit. It includes the mesh dress in various sizes, the colour change shoes, mother of pearl necklace and also has a really neat mother of pearl tiara mask - the pearls drape in a very classy jazzy/salsa way from the top of the head down over the face.

Look of the day: Secret Citron

September appears to be the time for some great hunts!! Starting September 1st is the Top Shelf Style Hunt presented by one of my favorite shops - PixelSnobs!  I was priviledged enough to be invited as a preview blogger and I'm psyched to show you some awesome gifts that will be available!! In fact, the hunt is so filled with amazingness, that I'm not going to be able to pack it in one post, so expect a little sharing of this hunt here and there.

The first batch I wanted to show is a dress from a sample box (more than one awesome outfit!!) from [dirty.little.secret]. This mesh citron blouson dress comes with matching shoes and looks absolutely gorgeous on. The blogger pack I received also has 3 other outfits in it!! As always,  [dirty.little.secret] is an amazingly generous as well as talented designer!

The necklace is a unisex gift from NUTS Inc, and the picture doesn't do it justice, its gorgeous. It features a cross, wings, male and female symbol and beading. Its really amazingly detailed.

The house I'm in for these photos is my new favorite house from In-Verse. It is a new release and right now you can get it on the marketplace for 99L$ - but only for probably about another 12 hours, so HURRY UP! It fits a 1024 parcel and is just tooooooooo gawjus to pass up!

Costume Nirvana for Petites at Bare Rose

If you're like me and in constant need of really nice and sometimes out of the ordinary costumes, and you're a Petite, you need to make a trip to Bare Rose ... the place is costume Nirvana! When I need a costume for an event at the club I host and DJ (Club Amaranth for those interested, it's very petite friendly)I start there. If I can't find what I need there, I'll pretty much not find it at all. Here's a peek at some of the many many costumes I've gotten just in the last month.

CTM Fairly ... I haven't found an event to wear it for, but I couldn't resist it. Comes with five color options all in one package.

Dryad is perfect for plant related themes, or for elven/fae events. Comes with everything you need but the hair, and has 3 flower color options.

Detonator is perfect for an armor themed event or even a weapons themed event as you'd be wearing several bombs. Comes with everything but the hair and has the pink option shown plus a white/silver option as well.

Shiogiri is perfect for an Asian/Japanese themed event, and is one of many different Asian themed costumes available in the shop. This one comes with everything shown including the hair and shoes.

Circus theme? Then go with Miss Petite Quin (There's also a male version if this costume). There are three color options included, with everything but the hair provided.

For those Renascence or even Medieval themes there's Juliet. This has three color options and includes a headress that's not shown in my picture. All you need to add is hair and shoes.
Right now until September 1st there is a hunt celebrating the shop's seventh anniversary. You follow a story to collect 5 objects. Each object contains the parts for a full outfit for males and females both Big and Petite. It's a really quick hunt and well worth the time you spend. Here's a peek:

Amour has released a new "sack" type dress - but this is one designer that does it right - it looks amazing on and comes in various sizes and colours. Each colourpack holds a colour and the basic black dress. It looks so cute and summery on, with a splash of class that I like. Great job!

Last week the creator of Blueberry store sent out some awesome gifts to her group - two pairs of mesh boots and a pair of mesh pants! Check out a set of the boots!!! *Squee!*

(love) has a cute set of group gifts and cheapies in the "Salon" section of their mainstore - The hair I'm wearing is L$1 and is one of the two fatpack styles available in the bag!

If anyone knows me, they know I love pandas - they're just... kyoooooot! Snagged this panda necklace at Izzie's in New York the other day, but you can find it in the Izzie's Mainstore too!
