Hoards of Holidays!

Did you know that December is Universal Human Rights Month? Or that December 3rd is International Day of the Disabled Person? There's more holidays than Christmas and Hanukkah during the month of December, though some are obscure. We want to celebrate all of these holidays by having a Hoard of Holidays Hunt. The theme is the holidays ... ANY December Holiday, be it Christmas or National Cookie Day, we don't care ... a holiday is a cause for celebration after all! The Hoard of Holidays hunt starts December 1st at NOON (the official start time). It's a really quick hunt, only 23 vendors, so short and sweet and easy to do in just one day if you want. Some of the vendors have shared pictures of their hunt gifts so we're going to give you a little peek:

The Halloween seasons is upon us, and that of course means great outfits, costumes and designer gifts! As well as things for your avi, there are lots of interesting places to explore with a creepy theme! London has taken their dungeon and transformed it into a walk through the grim past of London - including a room about the Jack the Ripper!

~Shadow Moon~ has some great hunt gifts out right now, including the Halloween Stripes outfit above! There's also a companion male version! It includes the boots, mesh corset, socks, armbands, bat necklace and skirt!. The skin is a group gift from ::Modish:: and the hair was part of the secret sale last month at ChiChickie! Arcade Inspiration

Yesterday I said I would likely take some more photos in the Arcade Gacha Events location, and I couldn't help but go back again today - for some more great gacha and to take some pictures!

Its just such a dreamy location, and I'm completely drawn there! Even the sounds pull you in to the ambiance like Coney Island. It was the perfect place to show you my look of the day!

Chrysalis released a new group gift and its this cute little dress with attachable flowers on the front - aren't they cute?! Truth also now has two walls of new releases if you haven't been there in a while - This "Briony" style is just one of the new gorgeousness available! The ring, earrings and skin are all available in the gachas at the Arcade Gacha event!

While a sale and great priced items are all fabulous - what makes this event extra awesome is the amazing location and the inspiration it can bring - stop over and see what inspires you!

Hey Men, Its True - Size Doesn't Matter

So the SLU "Big Things, Small Packages" hunt is well underway and you can find hints and more information at the links on the right. The last little bit we did some preview items and I heard some disappointed comments about not having enough men's stuff in the hunt! Well... the preview items were not all the things in the hunt and I just wanted to take a moment to showcase some (not even close to all) men's items in the hunt - so today... I'm cross dressin'... just for you... so enjoy it :P

Lots of designers did things for men and women in the hunt, and quite a few things can be considered "unisex" - like this awesome Harley Bagger from VsD Custom Choppers that comes with control HUD and is an absolute BLAST to drive.My location today is actually in the hunt as well - Pooka's gave out this awesome skybox with a working waterfall, its huge and awesome and a perfect location for all your petite needs! Tiny Bubbles gave out men's and women's shoes and bracelets, Little Chickie's gave out men's and women's hair (the men's come with a colour and caption change hat!). 

The gorgeous eyes are from Mayfly and come in various options. !Chaos, Panic, & Disorder! is gifting us with an awesome Men's/Women's necklace - one with a heart and one with the key and fitted for both men and women!

Silly enough to lick windows!

It has taken me ALL DAY to do this post because I've been so distracted by RL things! When I logged in this morning though, I sifted through the awesomness from September gift giving AGAIN and found some amazing goodness!

Sifting through, I found this awesome outfit that made me giggle from ::Hotstuff:: - it comes with shirt, pants, shoes and TONGUE! The tongue has a star piercing and the shirt says "People like you have reason that people like me need medication". So cute!

I remembered yesterday that I received a notice from JeSyLiLo about a new SALE skin!!! And its sooo pretty! I skipped on down there and picked it up!

Deliriously Diva Glam!

Yesterday I mentioned being overwhelmed at the start of the new month... that's because there is so much awesomeness available now I'm having a hard time deciding what to post and how to sort through it all! This morning's look is a bunch of newness and a group gift! (Ooooh.. freeeeeee...)

I've been watching Aida Ewing's flickr feed for a bit and have been highly anticipating the release of the beautiful "Lilith" skin! So excited was I that I actually got a shade darker than I intended, but its so gorgeous I don't even care!

Sometimes I'm busy and click absentmindedly through notices without having a chance to really look at them - but sometimes on chance, I go back and see what I missed, and I missed a good'un! D!va released a hair previously only available at Collabor88 and its so adorable! The flowers are colourchange, the hair is resize and its sold for only L$150!

The giftie is the ENTIRE outfit, available as a group gift from Delirium Style. Look! PANDAZ! I love love love pandas and this shirt is just so adorable. Everything about this outfit is highly detailed and full of sass!

Amour has released a new "sack" type dress - but this is one designer that does it right - it looks amazing on and comes in various sizes and colours. Each colourpack holds a colour and the basic black dress. It looks so cute and summery on, with a splash of class that I like. Great job!

Last week the creator of Blueberry store sent out some awesome gifts to her group - two pairs of mesh boots and a pair of mesh pants! Check out a set of the boots!!! *Squee!*

(love) has a cute set of group gifts and cheapies in the "Salon" section of their mainstore - The hair I'm wearing is L$1 and is one of the two fatpack styles available in the bag!

If anyone knows me, they know I love pandas - they're just... kyoooooot! Snagged this panda necklace at Izzie's in New York the other day, but you can find it in the Izzie's Mainstore too!

Cart Sale and IS DESIGN!

The amazing bi-annual Cart Sale is on at The Wash right now and every year I think I go a little nuts... like Christmas on a sugar high or something! My wallet takes a kicking, but I can't really pass up the super awesome deals that are provided by the fabulous designers whom participate in the Cart Sale every 6 months.

That said, it took me a LONG time to come up with an outfit to show - there's just so much good stuff! (In fact, expect to see something else from me in the future about this event, because its just so awesome).

In between sorting my inventory after my cart sale insanity, I've been checking blogs (of course!) and I ran across this post at SL Wonderland (which I frequent often) and laughed so hard at the bacon breakfast bag that I had to go nab it. When I did, I discovered "IS DESIGN" - a store that is just plain awesome! Its silly, its fun, its sexy and you should go down there and see what's there! Lucky boards, gatchas and freebies abound and you don't want to miss the cute items offered there.
