I have been wearing the same thing for a few days - and the fact that I change outfits about 3 times a day should give you some indication of how much I love this outfit.

It was the perfect non-tramp outfit for "Best in Latex" at Club Amaranth and I was so pleased with it that I never wanted to take it off! Classy, sexy and gorgeously made - my look of the day is from Indyra Originals Couture.

Senorita JeSyLiLo!

Its December, and it means gifts gifts gifts! I assumed there would be some great gifts out there this month, but I never imagined there would be 100 gifts from one store alone. But there is!

JeSyLiLo is celebrating their time in SL by giving away the gifts throughout the year and more! There are about 100 gifts (or exactly 100 - I was so excited I just started scooping them up!) under and around the two Christmas trees in the JeSyLiLo store. They are filled with lots of different things - skins, clothes, shoes, and things for men and women both!

I also stopped by Analog Dog and snagged some "new to me" free hair in the freebie balls there. I don't know when she changed them, but it was a nice surprise to get a few of the newer release hair for free!

This place is gorgeous, and although I don't speak Spanish very well (or really at all without my translator) they were really nice and friendly! Hoards of Holidays!

Did you know that December is Universal Human Rights Month? Or that December 3rd is International Day of the Disabled Person? There's more holidays than Christmas and Hanukkah during the month of December, though some are obscure. We want to celebrate all of these holidays by having a Hoard of Holidays Hunt. The theme is the holidays ... ANY December Holiday, be it Christmas or National Cookie Day, we don't care ... a holiday is a cause for celebration after all! The Hoard of Holidays hunt starts December 1st at NOON (the official start time). It's a really quick hunt, only 23 vendors, so short and sweet and easy to do in just one day if you want. Some of the vendors have shared pictures of their hunt gifts so we're going to give you a little peek:

Crank It Up!

RL has been insanely hectic lately and the common colds of November haven't been helping much. There are so many great things going on in November though that I'd be completely failing if I didn't get chance to share some stuff!

Crank Design has put out THREE group gifts - two for their group (which is free to join) and one for the WomenSTUFF group. Crank always has nice designs and I was so pleased to see a notice about these amazing gifts! I'm not going to show all three though, you'll just have to go and nab them for yourself!

Its been a bit and for that I apologize, but RL has had me in its grip with sickness and winter storms and power outages etc etc.

*Slurps her coffee noisily* Morning all! :.::Hot Stuff::.: has some hot stuff coming out in New Releases and hunts and one of the many outfits that caught my eye is this sexy little number that comes with the awesome boots!

A friend turned me on to a skin event as well - the Structure Your Skin event - and there was the downfall of my saved lindens. However, it was gratifying because the skins are BEAUTIFUL and they are only L$99! They have so many great designers there - come with a full wallet because it will be hard to choose. The one above is from the ::Modish:: display - but there were so many ones I liked, it was hard to choose! (So I didn't - expect to see them in future posts!)

The eyes in the picture are gorgeous and were the group gift from IKON - if you are not in this group, you need to get there. The designer releases a gift every month, but ONLY for the first weekend of the month. If you're not in the group, you can't get the gift and they are always amazing.

Early Morning Cuppa

How do I find out about places or items? Two of the ways I unearth some awesome items are through friends, or through Flickr photos - and today I have one of each to show you!

A friend teleported me to his friend's shop, and I was amazed at the gorgeous outfits she had there - :.Q'che.: has great mesh items and some fantastic freebies! I also noticed that she has some secret sale items - so be sure to mouse over the displays to see the prices because somethings are specially priced!

Then I scooted on over to *MY UGLYDOROTHY to check out the skins I've been hearing so much about on various Flickr posts - and it was worth it - The skins there are gorgeous! I'll be saving up to nab a few of the regular priced ones - but right now they have about 4 of them available as gifts!

After all that, I needed a coffee pick-me-up and found the BRB Coffee Shop to get my fix - the music is great and the atmosphere was just what I was looking for! I'll definitely be going back. Coffee anyone?

Quick post because I'm hungry, its Friday and I'm not a good thinker on Fridays....

New Hunt! Hoard of Holidays! Now accepting applications!

Yesterday was a sad day because it was the end of the SLU Big Things, Small Packages hunt - a big thanks to all of the vendors who participated and we hope you enjoyed the treasures found in the plunder!

It was also an exciting day because we announced in the in-world group about our next hunt!

A small note about applying to our hunts: Be sure to check our FAQs and Rules for hunts (they're on the right). If you don't agree with them, that's fine! But we ask that you not apply to the hunt if that's the case, because it will save us and you time in the long run :) We're pretty strict on our rules, but they're in place to ensure everyone has a fun time. The purpose of our hunts is so that folks enjoy unearthing something new, perhaps a new place they've never been or a new store they've never seen. Halloween Hooters and more!

Today I was in the Halloween mood and had some great items fall into my lap - I wanted to share because you shouldn't miss them!

The Halloween seasons is upon us, and that of course means great outfits, costumes and designer gifts! As well as things for your avi, there are lots of interesting places to explore with a creepy theme! London has taken their dungeon and transformed it into a walk through the grim past of London - including a room about the Jack the Ripper!

Step InSide for Blueberries.

This morning a friend of mine needed some shape help and sent me to *Step InSide* to look at their skins - and I was shocked and surprised when I landed to find group gifts, lucky boards and a dollarbie skin pack!

I paired one of these skins with some new hair from Truth and a great group gift (released yesterday!) from Blueberry and came up with this great look of the day!

I also found these great boots from Kitties Lair that look amazing with the overall outfit!

Arcade Inspiration

Yesterday I said I would likely take some more photos in the Arcade Gacha Events location, and I couldn't help but go back again today - for some more great gacha and to take some pictures!

Its just such a dreamy location, and I'm completely drawn there! Even the sounds pull you in to the ambiance like Coney Island. It was the perfect place to show you my look of the day!

Chrysalis released a new group gift and its this cute little dress with attachable flowers on the front - aren't they cute?! Truth also now has two walls of new releases if you haven't been there in a while - This "Briony" style is just one of the new gorgeousness available! The ring, earrings and skin are all available in the gachas at the Arcade Gacha event!

I Gacha!

I was looking though some notices and notecards and noticed one about a "Gacha" event - I knew what gatchas were, but was not prepared for the epic awesomeness that is The Arcade Gacha Events! The location is gorgeous (I'm sure I'll be taking some snaps there) and there are so many different kinds of gatchas available, I just keep going back to find more stuff! The bonus? Everything is between 25-100L$ (give or take a few)!! WOW!!!

The earrings, shirt and pants above all come from the *MonCheri* Gacha and it only took  me four tries to get all three items. The shoes are a rare item from the Ingenue gacha machine and they're so cute! I could try all day to win all the different pairs of Mickey Mouse ears from the [Auxilary] gacha!

And just look at this cute skin! There are all different variations available, but this one is the rare prize from : ) BCC. which I was lucky enough to snag on the first go! I also snagged the eye makeup from the Miamai gatcha.

The shirt above is from the ISON gatcha and I plan on collecting all of these colours - the blouse is so... perfect! The shoes are the same style as above from Ingenue but in the Robin colour - another new item I want in every colour! *Sigh* Yes, and I do plan on trying to snag all the pumpkins and poses from the aDORKable gacha - I mean, who wouldn't? Just look how cute they are!

I was dabbling in my inventory and I came up with this cute outfit!The dress and eyes I picked up from the SLU Big Things, Small Packages hunt and the faun attachments (Hooves, tail and horns) are from the "Rina" outfit available in the petite section of Severed Garden. Altogether, it looks so great!

The other thing I wanted to mention (and show) really quick is the hair! The hair above is from the Little Chickie! (ChiChickie's petite store) Secret Sale! She has select styles and color packs on around her store for 10L$ This includes biggie hair too, but just look at the cute styles and colors available for petites!

Continent Crash: Africa!

One of the great things about living on or exploring the Linden Mainland is that you can have some interesting neighbors and stumble across some interesting parcels. And that's just exactly what happened to me when I bought a small slice of heaven along the Linden ocean - I met some great people, saw some awesome spaces and am neighbor to a culture I've never had the pleasure of experiencing before - Africa!

 

This little spot is a few parcels down for me, and its a great location if you're interested in learning about Africa, or just wanting to hang out with some really great people! Its called "Africa Live!" and the outfits of today were purchased here too! They are from :: ARTIZANA :: who makes gorgeous mesh modern African culture clothing. The one above also comes with a beautiful mesh shawl in black or beige. 

There are lots of things to do in the Africa Live! location - lots to learn and many freebies!! Join the group and watch for events and get-togethers so you can meet the great people in this area! Hey Men, Its True - Size Doesn't Matter

So the SLU "Big Things, Small Packages" hunt is well underway and you can find hints and more information at the links on the right. The last little bit we did some preview items and I heard some disappointed comments about not having enough men's stuff in the hunt! Well... the preview items were not all the things in the hunt and I just wanted to take a moment to showcase some (not even close to all) men's items in the hunt - so today... I'm cross dressin'... just for you... so enjoy it :P

Lots of designers did things for men and women in the hunt, and quite a few things can be considered "unisex" - like this awesome Harley Bagger from VsD Custom Choppers that comes with control HUD and is an absolute BLAST to drive.My location today is actually in the hunt as well - Pooka's gave out this awesome skybox with a working waterfall, its huge and awesome and a perfect location for all your petite needs! Tiny Bubbles gave out men's and women's shoes and bracelets, Little Chickie's gave out men's and women's hair (the men's come with a colour and caption change hat!). 

The gorgeous eyes are from Mayfly and come in various options. !Chaos, Panic, & Disorder! is gifting us with an awesome Men's/Women's necklace - one with a heart and one with the key and fitted for both men and women!

We've been pretty quiet the last few days and that's because we're gearing up for the SL Unearthed Big Things Small Packages Petites Hunt that starts at noon on September 15th!
